‘9-1-1: Nashville’ Might Be Bad TV … But Is It Good for Nashville?
October’s “9-1-1: Nashville” premiere scored over 12 million viewers; it also sparked a lot of hilarious flying pedal tavern memes. But for Nashville’s TV & film professionals, having a network TV production in town means opportunities for consistent employment, and the possibility of reviving a local industry scene that died about the same time as Rayna James. We’ve gathered four “9-1-1: Nashville” actors — Alicia Haymer, CJ Walton, Taryn Pray, and our very own host, Marie Cecile Anderson — to talk about the show’s impact on our local creative community.
