This week, Metro Council passed two bills — and a whole bunch of amendments — that will shape the future of the development planned for the scrapyard site for years to come. (BTW: It’s Wasioto Bend now.) On Today’s Friday News Roundup, host Marie Cecile Anderson, newsletter editor Margaret Kingsbury, and executive producer Whitney Pastorek are walking through those amendments. They’re also wondering how we’re supposed to breathe when our air quality just got a F, and NES is chopping away at trees. But hey! At least we get to vent about the Super Bowl in our new bonus segment, Hell Naw.
