Thanksgiving is just around the corner! And if you’re still looking for something to do, or craving something other than turkey, there are plenty of restaurants around Nashville open for service. These are some of our favorites.

For those of you familiar with Sadie’s, you’ll be excited to hear that they’re offering a special Thanksgiving menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on November 28. For those who have not dined at Sadie’s, thank me later. The Thanksgiving dinner includes a salad station, roasted and braised turkey, and all of the Mediterranean flavors you could want. I’ve got my eye on the “Moroccan” brioche bread stuffing.

Looking for a fancier option? Why not break bread with loved ones at the historic Hermitage Hotel? They’re offering a Thanksgiving Day buffet at two different seating times, 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. And if you’ve got young kiddos, children 4-years-old and younger get in for free.

Level up your “Friendsgiving” with a few rounds of bowling at Pinewood Social. They’ll be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with a special turkey plate offering, so you’ll have a choice of Thanksgiving brunch, lunch, or dinner and drinks.

The modern diner from duo Brian Riggenbach and Mikey Corona is open from Noon to 8 p.m., offering two prix fixe menu options. One of them comes with a cider gravy that I’ve been dying to try since I saw it on the menu.

If the typical Thanksgiving fare is not your thing, this might be a good time to try Edessa, recently named one of the 50 best restaurants around the country by the New York Times. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the full menu of Turkish goodness will be available.

If the words “turkey poutine” call to you, Schulman’s is the place to be on Thanksgiving. The supremely vibey Midwestern-style neighborhood bar is offering their seasonal menu from November 23 to November 28 and is open on Thanksgiving Day.
